Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to all services provided by Fleydo English School (Owner: Lilay Ozkara, Kaiser-Friedrich-Ring 2, 65185 Wiesbaden, Germany) to parents/legal guardians ("Customer") and their children ("Participant"). By registering, the Customer accepts these terms.

2. Description of Services

Fleydo offers online English lessons for children and teenagers in the form of group classes (max. 6 participants) and private lessons (1:1). All courses are taught by native English-speaking or equivalently qualified teachers via video conference. We also offer exam preparation sessions ("Exam Boost") and access to a digital learning platform.

3. Trial Lesson & Registration

Every new customer can book a free trial lesson. The trial lesson is non-binding. Binding registration is completed by selecting a course package and completing payment. A contract is formed upon our confirmation email.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices are displayed on our pricing page in Euros (EUR) including VAT. Group class subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Private lesson packages are due upon booking. Payment is made via SEPA direct debit, credit card, or PayPal. We do not store card numbers.

5. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving reasons. To exercise your right, send a clear statement to [email protected]. In the event of a valid withdrawal, we will refund all payments received within 14 days.

6. Cancellation & Termination

Group Classes: Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time to the end of the current billing period.
Private Lessons: Unused lesson credits from packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Individual lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

7. Lesson Participation & Obligations

The participant needs an internet-enabled computer/tablet with camera and microphone. Fleydo is not liable for technical issues on the participant's side. If there are problems on our side, the lesson will be rescheduled.

8. Intellectual Property

All course materials, recordings, and resources are the intellectual property of Fleydo and may not be reproduced or shared without written permission.

9. Data Protection

10. Liability

Fleydo is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence, only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable typical damages. No guarantee is given for specific learning outcomes.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to change these terms with reasonable notice. If the Customer does not object within 30 days, the amended terms are deemed accepted.

12. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Place of jurisdiction is Wiesbaden, Germany.

13. Severability Clause

If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
