🚂 Little Stars 20: Trains and Planes
The second My Toys lesson adds the three big play toys — train, plane and robot — and opens the first spatial chunks of the course. Pip takes each toy out of the box with its own sound and action: choo-choo, zoom, beep-boop. The whole class then becomes one long train and chugs round the room through the Train Song, stopping and freezing on command. In the heart of the lesson the teacher calls six placement commands — “Put teddy in the box!”, “Put the car on the chair!” — and the children carry the toys to a real box and a real chair. In and on stay strictly receptive here: placing the toy is the complete answer and nobody is asked to produce the preposition. The roles then flip for the robot game, where the teacher-robot obeys only the single words the children shout, and the lesson lands with a paper-plane fold-and-fly in a taped throwing zone before tidy-up and the Goodbye Song.
