❓ Grammar A1-9: Question words

The Fleydo A1 material on question words, written for learners of about seven to ten. It teaches the six words the way children actually meet them: answer first, question word second. A pattern strip shows that the question word always comes first, a table pairs each word with the job it does and a real question and answer, and eight tap-and-repeat cards put every word into a sentence. Practice is built around question-to-answer matching: eight easy items where the answer is visible and the learner picks the word, a ten-item sorting task that separates place answers from time answers, and eight harder items set inside short conversations between classmates. How old are you? gets a section of its own, with is and are, the answer pattern (I am nine years old) and the two mistakes every beginner makes. Six typical errors are then repaired, and every single multiple-choice answer explains itself in words simpler than the grammar.
