In Lesson 10 of the Fleydo A1 Adults grammar series, students learn the definite article the and the fundamental English word order rule that adjectives come before nouns. The lesson opens with a visual comparison of a/an, an adjective, and the full pattern (the + adjective + noun). The dialogue follows Mr Brown giving Anna, Marco and Yuki a tour of central London — the Thames, the Shard, Tower Bridge, the London Eye, the British Museum — naturally producing the with unique places and superlatives while layering adjectives like tall, old, beautiful, famous and free before every noun.
