📖 Lesson B1 Grammar🎉 Fun & Culture

⏰ Time Traveller's Diary

Students read three diary entries from a fictional time traveller who witnesses the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, the Great Fire of London in 1666, and the Moon landing in 1969. Each entry naturally embeds past continuous for background descriptions and past simple for sudden completed events, connected with when and while. Grammar focus covers four key patterns: interrupted actions, background + sudden event, simultaneous actions, and sequential events. The interactive game presents 10 sentences where students choose the correct tense form. The writing task asks students to create their own time traveller diary entry about a historical event or the future.
