👋 Nice to Meet You
This is the first lesson of the Adults A1 grammar series. Learners meet three friendly characters — Anna from Italy, Marco from Brazil and Yuki from Japan — through a short, heavily controlled A1 text in which the verb 'to be' appears over thirty times in all its affirmative forms (am, is, are) with all seven subject pronouns. Part 1 warms learners up with time-of-day greetings. Part 2 presents the reading with visual character cards. Part 3 teaches 20 high-frequency A1 words (jobs, nationalities, descriptive adjectives). Part 4 anchors the grammar with a full conjugation table, contractions, example sentences pulled directly from the text, and pronunciation tips. Parts 5–7 practise the target form through a 10-question interactive game, a 6-question quiz and an 8-item fill-in-the-blanks exercise with answer key. Part 8 closes with a guided speaking task (self-introduction model) and a 5-sentence writing task about a friend or family member.
