🙋 Grammar A1-19: Object pronouns
The first material of Fleydo A1.2, written for learners of about seven to ten. It teaches object pronouns as one single contrast: the word before the doing word (taught in A1-2) against the word after it. A two-strip picture opens the topic — She helps me. / I help her. — then a pair table and seven pair dominoes show the whole system at once (I → me, he → him, they → them), with the two freebies, you and it, marked as words that never change. Practice is spread over five blocks: seven tap-and-repeat cards, eight easy items where the gap always follows the verb, a ten-word sorter that trains the only question that matters — before the doing word, or after it? — six items on to me / with us / for her, eight harder mixed items where the gap can be on either side, and six real errors to repair. Every answer explains itself in language simpler than the grammar being taught. Teacher notes give a 45-minute sequence, the two-column domino board move, a ball drill for the learner who is stuck, and the him / his clash with A1-3.
