🎁 Little Stars 21: Toy Show and Tell

The My Toys checkpoint of the Little Stars Compact 36 journey, and the lesson where colours and numbers come back into play. After the Hello routine with the puppet Pip and two rounds of the Toy Song — every child holding their own toy — the teacher models the whole turn with their own teddy: “My teddy!”, a pause, then “Brown teddy!” Three tap-twice toy cards show the same shape on screen: one tap gives the name, a second tap adds the colour or the number. A knee-to-knee rehearsal in pairs comes before the show itself, so the shy children are rescued in the circle and never on the spot. Then one child at a time stands on the gold star with their toy: name it, add the second word, and the whole class claps. The teacher plan carries the checkpoint list with three tick levels per child and asks the teacher to note exactly who combines two words — the growth milestone of this unit. The lesson closes with a toy parade to music, a class toy photo, calm breathing and the fixed Goodbye Song. Oral only — nothing is read or written at Pre-A1.
