📔 Horizon: Reading — The Training Diary
Coach Deniz hands out the real training diary of Leyla, a fifteen-year-old open-water swimmer, plus green and orange highlighters. Learners read for gist, then decode: have + past participle verbs become countable dots, have been + -ing verbs become lines still in motion, and dated moments drop into past simple. They map duration signals (for, since, so far, still, already, lately), plot week seven on a duration line, and finish by writing a decodable diary page about their own progress.
