🪐 The Girl Who Named Pluto
In 1930, astronomers discovered a new object in our solar system. Nobody knew what to call it. Then an eleven-year-old girl in England had an idea at the breakfast table. She suggested the name Pluto, after the Roman god of the underworld. The scientists loved it. This is her story.
