🏆 Bigger, Better, Best — Comparatives & Superlatives
This A2 Teens lesson teaches the full ladder of comparison in English: comparative for two things ("bigger than") and superlative for one thing at the top ("the biggest in the world"). You'll learn the spelling rules for short adjectives (tall→taller, nice→nicer, big→bigger, happy→happier), the rule for long adjectives (more/the most interesting), and the six irregular forms that every A2 learner must memorise (good, bad, far, little, much/many, old). Four magazine stories show comparisons in real teenage lives — Priya comparing herself to her younger sister in Chennai, Yusuf arguing about streets in Istanbul, Tevita adjusting to a bigger but lonelier new school in Auckland, and Sofia under the clearest sky on Earth in the Atacama. Eight colour-coded practice items, a speaking task about Rome vs Barcelona, and a writing task comparing two places complete the lesson.
