🎧 Horizon: Authentic Listening Entry
The crew faces three minutes of authentic teen podcast audio that was never made for learners. Sam catches eleven words — and still wins the attitude-defence round. Learners train the two-layer method (gist in one sentence, then attitude), learn how feelings leak through tone, stress and stance markers, and master the evidence machines: sounds + adjective, sounds as if + clause, seems to + verb, judging by her tone.
