✈️ Grammar A1-28: be going to

The Fleydo A1 material for be going to, written for learners of about seven to ten. It teaches the form as three parts that always travel together: part one is am / is / are, part two is going to, part three is the plain verb — and only part one ever changes. That is drilled first and hardest, because ✗ I going to swim is the sentence these learners really write. A sorting task separates the time words that mean this second (right now, Look!, at the moment) from the ones that mean later (tomorrow, tonight, next week, at the weekend, after school), so learners hear when a plan is being made.
