I’ve been teaching for a few years now, both in classrooms and online, and I’ve worked with children of different ages and backgrounds. I started teaching in Cambodia, where I taught kindergarten and primary school learners, and that experience really helped me grow not only as a teacher but as a person too. For the past few years I’ve also been teaching online, which has taught me how to keep lessons engaging, interactive and student-focused even through a screen.
My teaching methodology is based on patience, encouragement and building confidence. I believe every student learns differently, so I try to adapt my teaching style to each learner’s personality and level. I focus a lot on creating a comfortable environment where students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions and grow naturally. I enjoy using conversation, positive reinforcement and interactive activities to keep students motivated and involved in the lesson.
I love teaching because I genuinely enjoy helping people learn and improve themselves. Seeing a student become more confident, understand something new, or achieve a goal they struggled with before is one of the most rewarding feelings for me. Teaching is not just a job to me, it’s something I’m passionate about because I know how much a good teacher can impact someone’s life. Kids are the future!
