Qualified with a Level 5 TEFL diploma, a Bachelor of Education, and Waldorf-trained, I bring three years of classroom experience and a commitment to high-quality, student-focused education.

I am passionate about creating personalised lessons that support each student's specific learning needs and goals, and I am committed to ensuring that my students feel confident about their progress. My teaching approach is dynamic, shifting to support individual students. I encourage them to form personal connections to their language lessons, and I aim to normalise mistakes. Humour and enthusiasm form part of my toolkit, and I carry an intention to spark the interest of each student – when they are interested, their learning process can deepen exponentially.

I enjoy the collaborative nature of teaching, and I love facilitating or witnessing "Aha!" moments, when a student understands something – whether suddenly and with ease, or after grappling for a while. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their lives and contexts, so the conversational element of lessons is a highlight. Extremely organised, I take pleasure in clarifying definitions and identifying grammatical structures. English is complex and wonderful, and I look forward to helping my students transform English into a life skill.
