๐Ÿ‘— Little Stars 27: Little Fashion Show

The My Clothes checkpoint of the Little Stars Compact 36 journey, staged as a fashion show so that nothing ever feels like a test. After the fixed Hello routine with the puppet Pip, the unitโ€™s Get-Dressed Song comes back with a colour in every line, so the target chunk is already in every mouth before anybody steps out. Each child then chooses ONE thing from the real dress-up box and pulls it on over their own clothes โ€” adult sizes only, so nobody undresses and nobody changes โ€” while the on-screen box lets the class tap a colour first and a garment second and say the two words together. A rehearsal step drills the four moves in the same order every time: walk, stop, pose, say it, with the whole class walking in one long line so no child is alone in front of the group yet. Then the music goes on and the little fashion show itself runs for thirteen minutes: one child at a time down the tape line, โ€œTa-da! Red hat!โ€, and the seated children clap the show rhythm for every single turn. Shy children walk in pairs and are ticked separately โ€” participation over performance, and a child who walks and poses in silence gets exactly the same applause. A group finale walk, the class photo from the signed consent list, the tidy-up song and the Goodbye Song close the lesson. The teacher plan carries the minute-by-minute flow and a checkpoint card with the one box to tick per child: a colour plus clothes utterance on the catwalk. Oral only โ€” nothing is read and nothing is written at Pre-A1.
