🔮 Horizon: The Vision Interview
Third lesson of the future module, and the module’s live speaking skill: sustaining a whole interview on mixed future forms. Learners build a question battery — scene questions with the future continuous, scoreboard questions with the future perfect, dial questions with probability language — then learn the follow-up probes that refuse vague answers: “What makes you so sure?”, “Can you elaborate?”, and the echo probe with silence. As guests they chain their answers (By then I’ll have…, so I’ll be…) and hedge them honestly with might well and I doubt. In the story, Priya’s one-word echo “Three?” recalibrates Marco’s three imaginary albums down to one real one, and Aylin’s refusal to accept “I’ll be fine, successful, you know” uncovers Sam’s surprisingly plausible six-table pasta place — which wins best vision of the night.
