📖 Lesson A1 Vocabulary🏠 Everyday Life

👕 Sunshine Club: Get Dressed!

A fully interactive A1.1 kids vocabulary lesson (ages 7-9) that opens the Clothes unit. Children warm up with four point-touch-say actions, then meet the 9 clothes words in two emoji word-row boxes (tops & hats: t-shirt, jumper, jacket, dress, hat; legs & feet: trousers, skirt, socks, shoes) and one command box for the imperative chunk "Put on your…!" with a say-it-fast chip panel. A 10-row vocabulary table gives 3-6 word definitions, and six words get review flashcards. The tiny 80-word story "Teddy Gets Dressed" mirrors the classroom dress-teddy relay: Tom’s teddy is cold and the Sunshine Club friends dress him item by item, with six hover word cards and a sight-word chip row. Practice offers 8 one-word fill-in-the-blanks (on, is, have, hat, shoes, has, socks, jacket) with live feedback and hints. The speaking section is a command-and-mime dress-up game with five prompts and a 6-line example dialogue; the frame-based writing task (10-20 words) prepares the homework of naming tomorrow’s clothes; and an 8-question quiz with two story questions and saved score closes the lesson.
