🌈 Sunshine Club: Ten Colours!
A bright A1.1 Kids vocabulary lesson that opens the Rainbow Lab unit of the Sunshine Club series (Lesson 13). Children start with a colour-hunt warm-up (point to red, touch blue, find green, say your favourite), then meet the ten colour words in emoji word rows split into two boxes — the six rainbow colours (red, blue, yellow, green, pink, purple) and four more colours (black, white, brown, grey) — each with a 3-6 word example line. A third box teaches the magic question chunk 'What colour is it? — It's + colour' with a formula strip, model exchanges and a say-it-fast chip panel. The ten colours then appear in a vocabulary table with kid-simple meanings (the colour of tomatoes, the colour of the sky) and tiny examples. The Story Corner tells 'The Magic Jars', a 75-word tale of Nina, Ela, Omar and Tom mixing colours in jars (blue + yellow = green, red + white = pink, red + blue = purple), written in 3-7 word lines with five hover-tooltip words and a sight-word chip row (is, it, and, look, says, what). Six flashcards review the core colours, and eight one-word fill-in-the-blank sentences practise colour words and 'is' with live feedback, hints and a score bar. The speaking card gives five point-and-ask prompts plus a six-line model dialogue between Nina and Omar, and the writing task turns the homework (ask about three home things) into three sentence frames with a 10-20 word target, checklist, live word counter and auto-save. An eight-question multiple-choice quiz with one-sentence explanations, two story questions, a progress bar, a result circle and localStorage persistence closes the lesson.
