🧭 Welcome to the Expedition
A fully interactive A2.1 lesson designed as the first session of the Explorers course for young learners aged 9–13. Students meet 10 expedition-theme words (explorer, expedition, team, mission, journey, map, compass, discover, badge, motto) through clickable emoji cards with text-to-speech. The A1 question set is reactivated in an explorer context: question words (What, Where, When, Who, How, Why), Yes/No questions (Do you…? Can you…? Have you got…? Are you…?), correct word order and short answers. A story called 'The Sky Foxes — A New Expedition Begins' models the team-formation interview and the expedition rituals. Activities include flashcards, a matching game, question gap-fills, a partner interview, an interactive Team Card builder (team name, motto, mission + team ritual), a writing task ('My Explorer ID') and an 8-question quiz.
