🚶 Sunshine Club 2: Town Guides!
A fully interactive A1.2 Kids speaking lesson from the Sunshine Club 2 series (Lesson 35, Around Town unit) - the Use lesson that brings the whole town unit together. Children warm up with tour actions (wave and say Welcome!, town words, point left/right/straight, super-guide smile). The Pattern Focus is the guide script box with three formula chips - Welcome + to our town, This is + the park, Go/Turn/Stop + direction - four colour-tagged examples (Hello / Show / Move / Where) and a super-guide tips panel (smile and point, speak slowly, use left and right hands, one fact per place). Ten revision words (tourist, guide, welcome, visit, town, map, park, shop, bank, straight) appear in a scrollable table with 4-8 word definitions and tour examples, and six get review flashcards. The Reading Corner tells 'Town Tour Day' (about 95 words, lines of 4-9 words): the classroom is a little town, guide Omar welcomes tourist Nina, shows the park (two green chairs!), the bread-selling shop, the bank next to the door and his school - then they swap roles. Six hover-tooltip words and a six-chip Word cards row support early literacy. Practice gives 8 one-word fill-in-the-blank sentences (Welcome, guide, tourist, straight, sells, next, left, takes) including two 3rd-person -s items, with live green/red feedback and hints; Speaking is the core TOWN TOURS role play with five prompts and a six-line model dialogue between guide Ela and tourist Tom; the Writing task mirrors the homework (rehearse a festival station line) with four guide-line frames, a four-step checklist, a live word counter (aim 15-30 words) and auto-save. An 8-question multiple-choice Sunshine Quiz with a progress bar, one-line explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence closes the lesson.
