🪐 Sunshine Club 2: Signal Word Detectives

A fully interactive A1.2 Kids grammar lesson from the Sunshine Club 2 series (Lesson 50, Now vs Every Day unit). Children warm up with four playful actions (say a now word, say an every-day word, point up or down, listen for Look!). The Pattern Focus is one clear box built on the two-planets metaphor: now / today / Look! land on the NOW planet with I'm + -ing, while usually / always / every day land on the EVERY-DAY planet with the present simple - three colour-tagged examples and a signal-word chip panel (now, today, Look!, Listen!, usually, always, every day, on Mondays). Ten signal words appear in a scrollable table with 4-8 word definitions and short examples, and six get review flashcards. The Story Corner tells 'The Signal Word Hunt' (about 110 words, short sentences): Ela and Tom hunt for signal words and sort them onto the two planets, with six hover-tooltip words and a six-chip Word cards row for early literacy. Practice gives 8 one-word fill-in-the-blank sentences (walk, am, watches, is, gets, Look, usually, now - including two 3rd-person -s items) with live green/red feedback and hints; Speaking is a signal-dice pair game with five prompts and a six-line model dialogue between Ela and Nina; the Writing task mirrors the homework (spot two signal words) with three frames, a four-step checklist, a live word counter (aim 15-30 words) and auto-save. An 8-question multiple-choice Sunshine Quiz with a progress bar, two story questions, one-line explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence closes the lesson.
