๐Ÿ”ฎ Builders: Arrangements Diary

A fully interactive B1.1 grammar lesson for teens that isolates one of the three futures: the present continuous for fixed arrangements. Learners start with four warm-up questions about their own diaries, then study two focus blocks โ€” 'Present continuous for arrangements' (am/is/are + verb-ing with times and places, plus negative and question forms) and 'The evidence test' (three diary questions that prove a sentence is an arrangement rather than a going-to plan or a will prediction), backed by a signal-word panel (at five, on Friday, this weekend, it's in the diary). Ten key words (diary, arrangement, appointment, fixed, schedule, confirm, cancel, reschedule, slot, clash) appear in a scrollable table with full B1 definitions and examples, and six are reviewed as flashcards. The Diary Desk reading shows Aylin, Marco, Priya and Sam comparing full weekend diaries, with the target grammar bolded and six hover-tooltip words. Practice offers eight single-word fill-ins (am/is/are, -ing verbs and lesson words) with live validation, hints and a score. Speaking runs a diary-clash challenge with five prompts and a six-line model negotiation; the guided 40โ€“70 word writing task asks learners to draft their own weekend diary against a four-point checklist with a live counter and auto-save; and an eight-question quiz mixes arrangement grammar with two comprehension questions on the reading, with per-question explanations and a saved result.
