⭐ Sunshine Club: Our Big Story
The story lesson of the Sunshine Club graduation unit. Nothing new is taught: the four club kids star in Our Course Story, a tiny co-created tale that revisits the whole year — hello routines, pets, the garden, food, colours, the sun, singing, dancing and counting — using only known structures (This is, We are, has got, likes, There's, We can). A word-power section previews four story words in emoji rows and shows three star sentences from the story plus a story-starter chip panel. Ten revision words (club, friend, garden, kite, sun, dog, cat, apple, sing, count) fill the vocabulary table and six return as flashcards. The 70-word story is printed magazine-style with five hover word-helps and a six-chip word-card row for the early-literacy strand. Children then complete 8 one-word story fill-in-the-blanks with live feedback, run a read-aloud chain speaking round with a five-line model dialogue between Nina and Omar, write a three-frame story retell (10–20 words) with checklist, live counter and auto-save, and finish with an 8-question story quiz with one-line explanations, a score circle and localStorage progress — ready to retell the story at home.
