✍️ IELTS Essay Introduction and Conclusion: 30 Model Paragraphs
A complete lesson on how to start and finish an IELTS Writing Task 2 essay, written for candidates at band 5.5 to 7.0 who lose time on the introduction and rush the conclusion. It teaches the two-sentence introduction (paraphrased topic plus a clear thesis or outline) and the two-to-three-sentence conclusion (restated position plus synthesis, no new ideas), and explains why memorised openers such as 'In this modern era' lower your Lexical Resource score. The model bank gives 15 IELTS essay introduction examples and 15 IELTS Task 2 conclusion examples, three for each question type (opinion, discussion, advantages and disadvantages, problem and solution, double question), each with an exam-style question on a current theme and a note on why the paragraph works. You also get five paraphrasing techniques with before-and-after examples, four weak-versus-strong introduction comparisons, a time budget, two interactive practice blocks, a timed writing task with a model, a common-mistakes table and a 10-question quiz. After the lesson you will be able to write a clear, correctly targeted introduction in under five minutes and a conclusion in three.
