👕 The Ten-Euro T-Shirt
Students read an original debate-style article exploring the tension between fast fashion and sustainable clothing. Campaigner Ingrid Holmgren argues for ethical fashion, while commentator Rafael Mendoza defends affordable clothing. Concession and contrast connectors (although, despite, however, nevertheless, whereas, while, even though, in spite of) are embedded naturally throughout both viewpoints. The interactive game presents 10 sentences where students choose the correct connector, while the writing task challenges them to write a balanced argument.
