🌫 The Cloud Collector

In this innovative B1-level interactive storybook, 14-year-old Valentina Quispe lives in Pueblo de Niebla, a village of 300 people in the driest desert on Earth. When a copper mine drains the village's only water source, Valentina turns to her grandmother Celeste's stories about ancestors who caught the tears of clouds. She builds fog-harvesting nets that collect water from the morning camanchaca fog, fights a mining company that tries to claim ownership of the clouds, and proves that combining indigenous wisdom with modern science can solve problems that neither could solve alone.
