Students master past tense questions and negatives through a realistic email exchange between two friends about their weekends. They learn time expressions (yesterday, last weekend, ago), practise Did you/What did you do questions, use didn't for negatives, and play a dialogue-builder game. The lesson ends with writing their own weekend email to a friend.
