โœ๏ธ Explorers: Friendly Emails

A fully interactive A2.2 Writing Studio lesson that completes A2 email writing. Students warm up with four questions about messages, then study a two-box craft toolkit: The 5 Parts of a Friendly Email (subject, greeting, news, question, sign-off, shown as an ordered formula with a worked example of each) and Handy Email Phrases (a five-row table of greetings, news openers, questions and sign-offs). Ten key words (email, subject, greeting, news, sign-off, reply, pen-pal, send, attach, friendly) appear in a scrollable table with A2 definitions, and six become review flashcards. The reading is a model email from Leo to Mia about his football weekend, laid out with a real subject line, greeting, news paragraph, questions and sign-off, recycling past simple and past continuous (while we were warming up, it started to rain), with seven hover-tooltip words. Practice offers eight contextualised fill-in-the-blank items on the email parts and recycled past tenses with live validation, hints and a score. Speaking gives five planning prompts and a model dialogue of two explorers planning an email aloud. The writing task is the homework โ€” draft a 30-50 word email to a real friend or cousin using all five parts, with a four-point checklist, live word counter and auto-save. A final eight-question quiz mixes email-part knowledge, a past continuous item and two comprehension questions about Leo's email, with progress bar, explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence.
