🎭 Explorers: Dress Rehearsal + Programme

A fully interactive A2 Kids Adventure Showcase 'Rehearse' lesson focused on speaking, where students do the dress rehearsal and get the show ready for the audience. After four warm-up questions about costumes, timing and invitations, the Showcase Kit toolkit runs in three blocks: Dress Rehearsal Checklist (must/mustn't and be going to for the last full run in costume, with a check-before-showtime list), The Programme (a table showing the title, cast, scenes and thank-you line), and Invitations: Come and See! (be going to plus future time markers — tomorrow, on Friday, at four o'clock, next week, after school). Ten showcase words (dress rehearsal, costume, programme, invitation, cast, audience, curtain, perform, showtime, ready) appear in a scrollable table and six get review flashcards. The magazine-style reading, Showcase File No. 5, follows Team Compass through the dress rehearsal, the programme and the invitations, recycling be going to, past tense and superlatives with hover-tooltip vocabulary. Practice offers 8 single-word fill-in-the-blank items (going to, base verbs, superlatives, past verbs, prepositions of time and lesson words) with live validation, hints and a score; the rich speaking section gives five prompts and a five-line Team Compass get-ready dialogue; the writing task is a 25-45 word show invitation with a four-point checklist (invite, when with going to, day and time, why it is special) and a live word counter with auto-save; and a full 8-question quiz mixes be going to, superlatives, past tense, prepositions of time, vocabulary and two reading-comprehension questions, with progress bar, per-question explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence.
