🔮 Explorers: Weekend Plans
A fully interactive A2.1 Kids grammar-and-speaking lesson that opens the Going-To unit of the Explorer Club. Children warm up with four questions about their own weekend, then study the language in three clear blocks: the Plan Machine (be going to + base verb, with a formula and reminders that the verb stays in its base form), Choose your BE (matching am/is/are to the person, with short forms I'm / he's / they're), and a who-plans-what table showing all six persons. Ten key words (plan, visit, tomorrow, weekend, grandma, cinema, picnic, invite, match, ready) appear in a scrollable table with kid-friendly definitions and examples, and six get review flashcards. The reading is a magazine-style Weekend File where Zeynep, Leo, Mia and Kofi each describe a weekend plan using 'going to' in natural context, with key vocabulary highlighted on hover. Practice includes 8 contextualised fill-in-the-blank questions (am/is/are, going, to, and lesson words) with live green/red validation, hints and a running score; a speaking section with five plan prompts and a five-line model dialogue; a guided 25-45 word writing task with a four-point checklist and a live word counter with auto-save; and a full 8-question multiple-choice quiz mixing going-to grammar with two reading-comprehension questions, featuring a progress bar, per-question explanations, a conic-gradient result circle with tiered feedback, and localStorage persistence.
