⏰ Explorers: The Time Machine Opens
A fully interactive A2 Kids grammar lesson that opens the past-tense term with the Explorer Club time machine. Children warm up with four questions about yesterday, then study was and were: the two subject groups (I/he/she/it was, you/we/they were), yesterday time words (yesterday, last night, last weekend, an hour ago) with a now-vs-past contrast, and a clear was/were table. Ten past-and-place words appear in a scrollable table, and six get review flashcards. The reading is a ~95-word time-machine story with was/were affirmative throughout and six hover-tooltip words. Practice offers eight was-or-were fill-in-the-blanks with live validation, hints and a score. Speaking gives five prompts and a model dialogue at the time machine. Writing is a guided 25–45 word yesterday paragraph with a four-point checklist and a live word counter with auto-save. The lesson closes with an eight-question quiz mixing was/were and reading comprehension. Stays within was/were affirmative only — no negatives, questions or there was/were.
