📅 Sunshine Club 2: In or On?
A fully interactive A1.2 Kids grammar lesson from the Sunshine Club Level 2 series (Lesson 63, My Year unit). Children warm up with four actions (say a birthday month, say the days, say a party day, clap the in/on rule). The Pattern Focus is one clear box: the in/on rule with two formula chips (in + May/summer; on + Monday), four colour-tagged examples, a three-row rules table (month->in, season->in, day->on) and a tips chip panel. Ten key words (in, on, party, holiday, day, month, season, weekend, birthday, festival) appear in a scrollable table with 4-8 word definitions. The Reading Corner tells 'When Is the Party?' (about 130 words) starring Ela, Tom, Omar and Nina and their in-events and on-events, with six hover-tooltip words and a six-chip Word cards row (in, on, party, holiday, day, when). Six flashcards review the core words. Practice gives 8 one-word fill-in-the-blank sentences (in, on, in, on, has, likes, holiday, on) including two 3rd-person -s items (has, likes), with live green/red feedback and hints; Speaking is a when-is-it pair game with five prompts and a six-line model dialogue between Tom and Nina; the Writing task mirrors the homework (two event lines: one in-, one on-) with three frames, a four-step checklist, a live word counter (aim 15-30 words) and auto-save. An 8-question multiple-choice Sunshine Quiz with a progress bar, one-line explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence closes the lesson.
