🎬 Sunshine Club 2: He's Running, She's Reading!
A fully interactive A1.2 Kids grammar lesson from the Sunshine Club 2 series (Lesson 44, Right Now unit). Children extend the present continuous to third person: narrating other people's current actions like sports commentators. They warm up with four commentator actions (run on the spot, point and say He's jumping, watch the teacher, greet the sports fans). The Pattern Focus is one clear commentator box with three formula chips - He is + running - He's running!, She is + reading - She's reading., run + -ing - running (two n!) - three colour-tagged examples (He / She / Spell) and a tips chip panel (he is - He's; she is - She's; verb + -ing; run - running). Ten key words (running, jumping, reading, eating, singing, dancing, sleeping, writing, commentator, mic) appear in a scrollable table with 4-8 word definitions and He's/She's examples, and six get review flashcards. The Reading Corner tells 'Tom the Commentator' (about 100 words, lines of 4-9 words): Tom narrates Sunshine Sports Day - Omar's running, Ela's jumping, Nina's dancing, and the dog is eating Tom's sandwich - with six hover-tooltip words and a six-chip Word cards row (he's, she's, running, jumping, mic, fans). Practice gives 8 one-word fill-in-the-blank sentences (is, He's, She's, running, reading, dancing, mic) with live green/red feedback and hints; Speaking is a mime-and-commentate pair game with five prompts and a six-line model dialogue between Omar and Nina; the Writing task mirrors the homework (narrate two family actions tonight) with three frames ('My ___ is ___ing.'), a four-step checklist, a live word counter (aim 15-30 words) and auto-save. An 8-question multiple-choice Sunshine Quiz with a progress bar, one-line explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence closes the lesson.
