🧸 Sunshine Club: The Toys at Night
A fully interactive A1.1 Kids reading lesson from the Sunshine Club series (Lesson 40, My Toys unit). Children warm up with move-and-say actions and whispers, then meet three story words (night, wake up, dance) in emoji word rows and the ability chunk 'The robot can dance!' with a toy-word chip row for revision. Ten toy and night words appear in a friendly table with 3-6 word definitions and tiny examples. The heart of the lesson is Story Corner: a 70-word toys-come-alive story in Ela's bedroom with 3-7 word lines, big repetition, six hover word cards and a sight-word chip row for early readers. Six flashcards review the key words. Practice offers 8 one-word fill-in-the-blanks (night, can, up, sing, is, fly, dance, my) with hints and live green/red feedback. Speaking is a whisper-retell with five mini prompts and a 6-line example dialogue between Ela and Tom. The writing task mirrors the homework (whisper 'Wake up!' to a toy tonight) with three sentence frames, a 4-step checklist and a live word counter aiming for 10-20 words. The lesson ends with an 8-question multiple-choice Sunshine Quiz with one-sentence explanations, a progress bar, a result circle and localStorage saving.
