👋 Sunshine Club: How Are You?
Lesson 2 of the Sunshine Club for young beginners (ages 7–9). Children extend their hello routine with the big question 'How are you?' and six feeling words: happy, sad, angry, tired, fine and great. The warm-up copies feeling faces, then two focus boxes present the feeling words in emoji word rows and the question pattern 'How are you? → I'm + feeling word' with formula chips and an answer-ideas panel. A ten-word table and six flashcards give tiny definitions and examples. In the Story Corner (about 65 words) Omar is sad on club day until his friends invite him to play — with hover word help and a word-card reading row for early literacy. Children then fill 8 one-word gaps (feeling words, how, am, is) with hints and live feedback, play a toss-and-ask speaking game with a 5-line model dialogue, write 10–20 words with three feeling frames (checklist, word counter, auto-save), and finish with an 8-question Sunshine Quiz with one-line explanations and a score circle.
