⏰ Explorers: My Yesterday Report
A fully interactive A2 Kids Use lesson that pulls the whole Was/Were unit together into a real product: a spoken and written 4-line yesterday report. Students begin with four warm-up questions about yesterday, then study a three-part toolkit: Was & Were (I/he/she/it was, you/we/they were, there was/there were, and the negatives wasn't/weren't, with past signal words yesterday, last night, last weekend, this morning, two days ago), the 4-line report frame (Line 1 where you were, Line 2 who was with you, Line 3 a There was/There were detail, Line 4 a feeling), and a Feeling words & questions block with the report questions and answers. Ten key words (yesterday, last night, report, great, fun, boring, nice, weather, together, evening) appear in a scrollable table, and six get review flashcards. The reading is a magazine-style Report Circle in which the four explorers each give a first-person yesterday report using was, were, there was/were and feelings, with key vocabulary highlighted on hover. Practice includes eight contextualised single-word fill-in-the-blanks (was, were, wasn't, and feeling words) with live green/red validation, hints and a running score; a rich speaking section with five report prompts and a five-line model report-circle dialogue; a guided 25-45 word writing task built on the four-point frame with a live word counter and auto-save; and a full eight-question multiple-choice quiz mixing was/were, there was/were, negatives and two reading-comprehension questions, with a progress bar, per-question explanations, a conic-gradient result circle and localStorage persistence.
