🏞️ Explorers: On the Move!
A fully interactive A2 Kids vocabulary lesson in the Nature & Journeys unit that teaches transport words and how to say the way we travel. Students begin with four warm-up questions, then study the language in three blocks: By + Transport (by car / bus / train / plane / boat / bike, plus the special 'on foot' for walking, with a transport-words panel), We Went By... (past journeys with 'went by' + transport and How did you travel? questions), and a Where Does It Travel? table sorting transport by road, rails, water and sky. Ten key words (journey, transport, car, bus, train, plane, boat, bike, on foot, ticket) appear in a scrollable table with kid-friendly definitions and examples, and six get review flashcards. The reading is a magazine-style Team Travel File showing how each Team Compass explorer travels, plus a past summer journey by train and boat, with key words highlighted on hover. Practice has 8 single-word fill-in-the-blank items (by, on, went, bike, boat, ticket, journey, train) with live green/red validation, hints and a score; a speaking section with five travel prompts and a five-line Team Compass dialogue; a guided 25-45 word writing task about how the family travels with a four-point checklist and live word counter with auto-save; and a full 8-question quiz with progress bar, per-question explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence.
