📖 Lesson A2 Grammar📐 Grammar

🧭 Explorers: Present Power Check

A fully interactive A2.1 Kids grammar lesson that checks and strengthens the two presents — the A1.2 exit skills. Students begin with four warm-up questions, then study the language in three clear blocks: World 1: Present Simple for routines (every day, with the little -s for he/she and doesn't + base for negatives, plus a simple-signals panel: every day, usually, always, sometimes, every week), World 2: Present Continuous for right now (am/is/are + verb-ing, with a continuous-signals panel: now, right now, Look!, today, at the moment), and The Two Worlds Together (a four-row contrast table pairing each routine sentence with its right-now sentence). Ten signal words (every day, usually, always, sometimes, now, right now, at the moment, today, Look!, routine) appear in a scrollable table with kid-friendly definitions and examples, and six get detailed review flashcards colour-labelled as simple or continuous signals. The reading is a magazine-style Team File contrasting Team Compass's normal routine with one busy morning at base camp, with the two tenses shown in natural context and signal words highlighted on hover. Practice includes 8 contextualised single-word fill-in-the-blank questions (verb + -s, is/are, doesn't, and signal words) with live green/red validation, hints and a running score; a speaking section with five usually/today contrast prompts and a model contrast dialogue; a guided 25-45 word writing task with a four-point checklist for two-world contrast sentences and a live word counter with auto-save; and a full 8-question multiple-choice quiz featuring a progress bar, per-question explanations, a conic-gradient result circle with tiered motivational feedback, and localStorage persistence.
