📖 Lesson A1 Reading🎓 Education

🎒 Sunshine Club 2: Our First Text!

A fully interactive A1.2 Kids reading lesson from the Sunshine Club 2 series (Lesson 4, Back Together unit) - the debut of the reading ritual that anchors the whole year. Children warm up with four book actions (hold your book high, point to a picture, say I can read, whisper the word text). The Reading Ritual box teaches the three steps with formula chips - Step 1 picture-walk (look and guess), Step 2 read together (all voices, one team), Step 3 question hunt (find the answers) - plus three tagged step examples and a tips chip panel. Ten reading words (text, read, picture, question, answer, page, together, aloud, pairs, find) appear in a scrollable table with 4-8 word definitions and short examples, and six get review flashcards. The Reading Corner tells 'Our First Text' (about 110 words, lines of 4-9 words): Miss Sun leads the picture-walk, the class reads Mia's four-line text chorally, and the kids hunt two questions (How old is Mia? What is her dog's name?) - with five hover-tooltip words and a six-chip Word cards row for sight words. Practice gives 8 one-word fill-in-the-blank sentences (including the 3rd-person forms likes and has) with live green/red feedback and hints; Speaking is a question-hunters pair game with five prompts and a six-line model dialogue between Ela and Tom; the Writing task mirrors the homework (read the text aloud to someone, then write about Mia) with four frames, a four-step checklist, a live word counter (aim 15-30 words) and auto-save. An 8-question multiple-choice Sunshine Quiz with a progress bar, one-line explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence closes the lesson.
