☀️ Sunshine Club: What's the Weather?
A fully interactive A1.1 Kids vocabulary lesson from the Sunshine Club series (My Week & Weather unit). Children start with four playful warm-up actions at the window (look out, say yes/no, mime cold, say "It's sunny!"). The word focus presents the weather set in three friendly boxes: sky words (sunny, cloudy, windy), rain-and-snow words (rainy, snowy), and the magic pattern "It's + weather word" extended to "It's sunny and hot", with formula chips, spoken examples and a hot-or-cold tips panel. Ten key words (sunny, rainy, windy, cloudy, snowy, hot, cold, weather, sky, today) appear in a scrollable table with 3-6-word definitions and tiny examples, and six get review flashcards. The Story Corner reading "Four Windows, Four Skies" (about 80 words) visits Ela in Türkiye, Tom in England, Nina in Spain and Omar in Egypt, each reporting their weather in short repeated lines, with hover-tooltip word help and a word-cards chip row of sight words. Practice offers 8 one-word fill-in-the-blanks (weather words and 'is') with emoji hints, live green/red checking and a score bar. Speaking turns each child into a TV weather reporter with five short prompts and a six-line example dialogue between Ela and Tom. The frame-based writing task mirrors the homework (a morning weather report): three sentence frames, a four-step baby checklist, a 10-20 word target and a live word counter with auto-save. The lesson closes with an 8-question multiple-choice Sunshine Quiz (including two questions about the story) with a progress bar, one-sentence explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence.
