🏠 Sunshine Club 2: My Home Week Diary
A fully interactive A1.2 Kids writing lesson from the Sunshine Club 2 series (Lesson 29, My Home Life unit). Children warm up with four questions (say the days, name a Monday chore, say an always-line, what is a diary). The Pattern Focus is one clear diary-line box: day + how often + chore, with formula chips (On Monday, + I always + tidy my room), three colour-tagged examples and a tips chip panel (start with a day; add always/usually/sometimes/never; then your chore; end with a full stop). Ten key words (diary, week, Monday, Saturday, always, usually, sometimes, never, tidy, feed) appear in a scrollable table with 4-8 word definitions and diary-line examples, and six get review flashcards. The Reading Corner shows 'Nina's Week Diary' (about 90 words, lines of 4-9 words): Nina always tidies on Monday, usually feeds the cat on Wednesday, sometimes waters plants on Friday, but never washes the dishes - with six hover-tooltip words and a six-chip Word cards row (diary, week, always, tidy, feed, star). Practice gives 8 one-word fill-in-the-blank sentences (diary, week, day, stop, frequency words and a 3rd-person -s form writes) with live green/red feedback and hints; Speaking is a read-my-diary task with five prompts and a six-line model dialogue between Ela and Tom; the Writing task is the diary product - four diary lines with four frames (On Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Sunday, I ___ ___), a four-step checklist, a live word counter (aim 15-30 words) and auto-save. An 8-question multiple-choice Sunshine Quiz with a progress bar, one-line explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence closes the lesson.
