🍎 Explorers: Welcome to Restaurant Fleydo
A fully interactive A2.1 Kids speaking lesson that turns the classroom into Restaurant Fleydo Deluxe. Students warm up with four food questions, then study three language blocks: Ordering Politely (Can I have some...? please; the waiter's Are you ready to order? / Anything else? / Here you are), Some, Any & How Many (some in orders, any in questions, how much for uncountable and how many for countable, plus a bottle/glass of), and a Waiter-and-Guest phrase table. Ten restaurant words (menu, waiter, order, dish, starter, main course, dessert, drink, bill, delicious) appear in a scrollable table and six review flashcards. The reading is a magazine-style Food File in which Team Compass orders dinner, showing polite orders and quantity questions in natural context with hover tooltips. Practice offers eight contextualised fill-in-the-blank items (some/any, how much/how many, glass, waiter, bill, delicious) with live feedback and a score. Speaking runs a full waiter-and-guest role-play with five prompts and a six-line model dialogue; writing is a guided 25-45 word restaurant scene with a four-point checklist and live word counter with auto-save; and an eight-question quiz mixes ordering grammar with two reading-comprehension questions, with per-question explanations, a result circle and localStorage persistence.
