🏫 Sunshine Club: Yes It Is, No It Isn't!
A playful A1.1 Kids speaking lesson from the Sunshine Club series (Lesson 11, My Classroom unit) built around guessing games. Children warm up by pointing at real classroom things and saying the words, then meet the two game tools in simple pattern boxes: the magic question 'Is it a + thing?' with three model questions, and the two short answers 'Yes, it is!' / 'No, it isn't!' with a pronunciation tip (isn't = is not) and a game-talk chip panel (My turn! Your turn! You win!). Ten key words revise the classroom set (pen, pencil, book, bag, ruler, rubber, desk, chair) plus the game words guess and game, each with a 3-6 word kid definition and a tiny example. The Story Corner tells 'What Is in the Bag?', a 70-word feely-bag tale starring Ela, Tom, Nina and Omar, written in 3-7 word lines with high repetition of the target chunks, five hover-tooltip words and a six-card sight-word chip row (is, it, yes, no, a, says). Six flashcards review the core things, and eight one-word fill-in-the-blank sentences practise is / isn't / it / yes and classroom nouns with live green-red feedback, hints and a score bar. The speaking card mirrors the lesson's feely-bag activity with five short prompts and a six-line model dialogue between Ela and Tom, and the writing task turns the homework (play Is-it guessing with 3 home objects) into a frame-based mini-text of 10-20 words with a four-step checklist, live word counter and auto-save. An eight-question multiple-choice quiz with one-sentence explanations, two story questions, a progress bar, a result circle and localStorage persistence closes the lesson.
