Angenita Carstens

Hi! My name is Angenita, and I am a passionate and dedicated English teacher with a strong academic background in language and literature.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English and Afrikaans, as well as an Honours degree in English, and I am currently completing my Master’s degree in English. I also have a 120-hour TEFL certificate, which has equipped me with the skills to teach English as a foreign language in an engaging and effective way.

I have extensive experience working with students of different ages, levels, and learning needs, which has helped me develop strong communication, organisational, and teaching skills. I am confident in adapting my lessons to suit each student’s individual goals and learning style.

I am passionate about helping students grow in confidence and improve their English in a practical and meaningful way. My lessons are student-centred, supportive, and interactive, with a strong focus on speaking, pronunciation, and real-life communication.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors, which means we’ll always have interesting topics to talk about in class!
