☀️ Sunshine Club: Fleydo TV Weather News
A fully interactive A1.1 Kids speaking lesson that closes the Week & Weather unit with a TV show. Children warm up by looking outside, chanting the days and holding a pretend microphone, then learn the three-line broadcast pattern (Line 1: Hello! This is Fleydo TV! — Line 2: Today is Monday. — Line 3: It's sunny. Put on your cap!) plus a Put on…! advice box that matches clothes to weather. Ten Unit 11 revision words (sunny, rainy, windy, snowy, cloudy, hot, cold, today, news, put on) appear in a scrollable table with 3-6 word definitions, and six become review flashcards. The Story Corner is a 70-word tale in 3-7 word lines: Ela broadcasts the Monday news, the weather flips from sunny to rainy, and the whole club shouts the sign-off together — with six hover-tooltip words and a sight-word chip row (today, sunny, rainy, news, put on, hello). Practice gives 8 one-word fill-in-the-blanks with hints and live green/red feedback; Speaking offers five broadcast prompts and Nina's five-line model broadcast for pretend-mic pair rehearsals; Writing turns the homework (broadcast tomorrow's weather at breakfast) into a frame-based 10-20 word task with a four-step checklist and auto-saving word counter; and the Sunshine Quiz asks 8 ultra-simple multiple-choice questions (two about the story) with one-line explanations, a progress bar, a score circle and saved progress.
