🙌 Sunshine Club: Head to Toes!
A fully interactive A1.1 Kids vocabulary lesson from the Sunshine Club series (Lesson 25, opening the My Body unit). Children warm up with four move-your-body commands (wave hands, touch head, point to nose, move toes), then meet the words in two emoji word-row boxes: Top of You (head, eyes, ears, nose, mouth) and Down to Toes (shoulders, hands, knees, feet, toes), with a magic-words chip panel (Touch your...!, Point to...!, Clap!, I have two...). The vocabulary table lists all 10 body parts with 3-6 word kid definitions and command examples; six get review flashcards. The Story Corner is a 70-word tale in 3-7 word lines: the Sunshine Club sings Head-Shoulders slow, then fast, then super fast — Tom falls down and everyone laughs — with five hover-tooltip words and a six-card sight-word chip row. Practice offers 8 one-word fill-in-the-blanks (head, eyes, nose, mouth, hands, knees, have, can) with hints and live scoring. The speaking part mirrors the lesson's Simon-says activity: five sing-and-play prompts plus a 6-line model Teacher Says dialogue between Nina and Omar. The writing task turns the homework (sing Head-Shoulders at full speed) into three sentence frames (I have two ___, This is my ___, I can touch my ___) with a 4-step checklist, live word counter aiming for 10-20 words and auto-save. An 8-question multiple-choice quiz (including two story questions) with explanations, progress bar, result circle and localStorage persistence closes the lesson.
