🌈 Sunshine Club: The Chameleon
A fully interactive A1.1 kids reading lesson from the Rainbow Lab unit of the Sunshine Club series (ages 7-9). Children warm up by saying their favourite colour and making a funny lizard face, then meet three big story words (chameleon, change, look) in emoji word rows and the magic line pattern It's + colour / Now it's + colour in a formula box with a colour-word reading chips panel. Ten story words (chameleon, change, colour, leaf, flower, sun, hide, look, now, happy) appear in a kid-friendly vocabulary table with 3-6 word definitions, and six get review flashcards. The heart of the lesson is the tiny story The Chameleon (about 85 words, lines of 3-7 words): Coco sits on a green leaf, a red flower, the yellow sun and Nina's blue hat, changing colour every time, with hover word help and a sight-word card row of colour words — the friendliest first sight words. Practice offers 8 one-word fill-in-the-blanks straight from the story with live green/red checking and hints; the speaking section mirrors the classroom chameleon-wheel craft with five short prompts and a six-line model dialogue; the writing task turns the homework (show your chameleon and say its colours) into frame-based sentences with a 10-20 word counter, a three-step checklist and auto-save; and an 8-question story quiz with one-line explanations, a progress bar and a result circle closes the lesson.
