🏖️ My Holidays: Holiday Words and 'going to'

A fully interactive A1 Teens vocabulary-and-speaking lesson built around holidays and the future with 'be going to'. Students begin with four reflection warm-up questions, then study the language in three clear blocks: a picture grid of twelve holiday activities (go to the beach, swim in the sea, visit the mountains, take photos, visit a museum, eat ice cream, fly on a plane, go camping, go for a walk, stay in a hotel, explore a city, buy souvenirs), a 'going to' block teaching am/is/are + going to + verb with three formula cards and plan, question and negative examples plus short forms (I'm going to, she's going to, we're going to), and a future-time-words block with a table (tomorrow, next week, next summer, this weekend). The reading is a magazine-style feature with four first-person mini-stories from teens in Italy, Austria, Mexico, and Ghana, each describing their next holiday plans with 'going to', with key vocabulary highlighted on hover. Practice includes 8 contextualised fill-in-the-blank questions (am/is/are, going to, and holiday words) with live green/red validation, hints, and a running score; a speaking section with five interview prompts and a model dialogue; a guided 30–50 word writing task with a four-point checklist (using 'going to' twice and a future time word) and live word counter; and a full 8-question multiple-choice quiz featuring a progress bar, per-question explanations, a conic-gradient result circle with tiered motivational feedback, and localStorage persistence.
