🎶 Little Stars Plus 12: Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes
Lesson 12 of Little Stars Plus, a Pre-A1 English course for children aged 4 to 6. Three new body words — shoulders, knees and toes — join head from the last lesson, each with its own gesture. Then the children learn the traditional song “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes”: very slowly first, with giant gestures, then faster and faster, and finally in a humming round where nobody sings and everybody touches. A freeze-and-touch game ends the lesson: dance to the statue music, freeze like ice when it stops, and touch the part the page calls. The page speaks every line and plays the melody; the teacher sings. With seated alternatives, teacher tips, ideas for online lessons, a 30-minute version and a Star Check picture game for home.
